Some 20+ years ago I accepted a job here in Thailand to support my family in the Philippines. Make the long story short, when all my family, especially my siblings were done with their studies I intended on giving back to God because of the blessings, faithfulness, goodness and unfailing love HE had shown me. 

​

I started helping at VIFC - Victory International Family Church, now ONEWAY CHURCH Thailand and  MERCY Pattaya (Registration No. TCM 004/2548 under Haven Foundation) as a part time volunteer staff then. I started helping in every way possible  under the mentorship of Pastors Fred & Dianne Doell. Honestly speaking I’m starting to like my part time job. There was this feeling of fulfillment when you are out there helping the poor, feeding the hungry and sharing the Good News of God.

So then, I decided to quit my regular job and joined the MERCY team and started living the life of a missionary by serving VIFC and MERCY Pattaya as Bookkeeper. I led Praise and Worship and took care of the church media stuff on Sundays. During the week we visit various Slum area locations around Pattaya to hand out food bags and hygiene stuff.  We visit Home for the Elderly,  Juvenile Prison and really help the poor in every way possible. MERCY Pattaya also runs a Children’s Home and a Scholarship Program. MERCY children's home property is now home to Thrive Rescue.

With my 9 years of being in the ministry, I am privilege and blessed to had been mentored and worked for 5 remarkable Pastors -  Fred and Dianne Doell, Allan and Rhonda Ward, John and Lisa Swanner, Daniel and Abbi Saesong and Jonathan Vickers of Haven Foundation / Christian Outreach Center -  Chiangmai, Thailand.
