From Filipinos to Filipinos.
Last week was another busy but fulfilling week for the MERCY team. We went to shop at Makro last Tuesday, packed it last Wednesday and distributed it last Friday.
This time the benefactors and beneficiaries were some of my fellow “kababayans” - compatriots. It was a great time distributing the package/foodbags because I had the chance to speak to my fellow Filipinos in our native language for 2 hours. What a joy to be of help to others.
